| Ignite Production Group Selected to Produce General Atomic’s 50th Anniversary Event |
San Diego, CALIF. – March 1, 2007 – Ignite Production Group (IPG) a major force in West Coast Creative Meetings & Events production, today announced the signing of a production agreement to develop and manage General Atomic Nuclear Division’s International Partnership 50th Anniversary event in May of 2007.
General Atomics (GA) was conceived in San Diego, California and Founded in 1955 from a division of General Dynamics for the purpose of harnessing the power of nuclear technologies for the benefit of mankind. General Atomics' basic research into fission and fusion has matured into competence in many technologies, making GA and its affiliated companies one of the world's leading resources for high-technology systems development ranging from the nuclear fuel cycle to remotely operated surveillance aircraft, airborne sensors, and advanced electric, electronic, wireless and laser technologies.
Ignite Production Group will help coordinate all creative communications, branding, and the creative production elements of this full day of special events. The event will include renowned fusion science speakers from all over the world, special dignitaries, and other invited guests to this very special, half-century anniversary. The U.S. Secretary of Defense, Mr. Robert M. Gates is expected to attend along with other U.S. officials.
